Journey into Treegap, New Hampshire as we put on a Mini Musical! Explore a medley of songs and scenes from the hit show Tuck Everlasting. Grow skills in all areas of musical theatre while bringing your characters to life in the classroom. Share your adventures with friends and family at our Open Sharing performance on the final day of class! A great opportunity for students hoping to audition for an upcoming JT production.

Grades 1-3

Explore the magical world of Broadway in this musical theatre dance class! Improve coordination and confidence in this introductory class that will blend storytelling and dance. Build your dance vocabulary and your musical theater skills while learning original choreography and jamming out to your favorite showtunes.

Grades 4-6

Join the wacky world of Louis Sachar with larger-than-life characters from Holes and Sideways Stories from Wayside School! Stretch your imagination and sharpen your acting skills as you collaborate with classmates to create original scenes featuring iconic characters like Stanley Yelnats and Mrs. Gorf. An excellent opportunity for eligible students who are interested in preparing to audition for JT's winter production of Sideways Stories from Wayside School!

Grades 1-3

Step inside Riley’s mind and join us for an acting adventure inspired by Inside Out and the new sequel! Explore the world of Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust through engaging activities that bring these vibrant characters to life. Work with classmates to create imaginative scenes, practice expressing a range of emotions, and learn the basics of storytelling and character development. Whether you're feeling joyful, fearful, or somewhere in between, come make new friends and core memories at Junior Theatre!

Levels PreK-K

Bust out your favorite pair of shoes and take a stroll through the imaginative world of Pete the Cat, where anything is possible! Let the coolest cat in town guide you through the ABCs of acting, building confidence, and creativity. Learn performance basics and unleash your imagination to bring Pete’s popular tales to life through dramatic play.

Grades 4-6

Put pen to page and present your original stories on stage! Collaborate with classmates to write and perform in an original play. Harness your storytelling skills and share a one-of-a-kind creation with friends and family on the final day of class!

Grades 4-6

Time Step to success with this foundational tap dance class! Master tap essentials as you blend basic steps into dynamic and fast-paced combinations. Boost your coordination while perfecting swift footwork and intricate rhythms. Fine tune your technique and unlock the full potential of your rhythmic abilities!

*Students are not required to have tap shoes to participate in this class, but are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.

Grades 7-12

Embrace the macabre and mysterious side of musical theatre as we draw inspiration from Broadway’s spookiest musicals. Elevate your dance technique by learning choreography to supernatural selections from Beetlejuice, Rocky Horror, Little Shop of Horrors and more! Celebrate JT’s upcoming production of The Addams Family as we step into the Halloween season.
