with Hannah Bosworth

Grades PreK-K (Ages 4 and 5)*
With a moo-moo here and a cluck-cluck there, join JT for acting class inspired by songs and stories from the farm! Use your newfound performance skills to portray beloved characters from tales like Click Clack Moo, The Little Red Hen and more! Hop into the shoes (or hooves!) of your favorite barnyard pals and share your creativity with friends and family in an Open Sharing on the final day of class!
* Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.

A Very Starkid Musical
with Eliza Vedar

Grades 7-12
Dive into the world of musical parody and explore the vast musical catalog of YouTube sensation Starkid Productions! Sing songs from viral hits like A Very Potter Musical, Holy Musical Batman, Firebringer and many more. Further your performance skills in this class focusing on intermediate and advanced vocal techniques. This study of Starkid Productions gives students a glimpse into the new horizons of musical theatre and pushes creativity to new heights.

Ages 8-12
Transform a poem into a unique story for the stage! In collaboration with your peers and teaching artist, create a one-of-a-kind play based on the texts of beloved poets like William Shakespeare, Shel Silverstein, Emily Dickinson and others. Learn the basics of script writing and dip your toes in the world of devised theatre. Take on the role of a playwright, director and actor to create a completely original performance to share on the final day of class.
