Audition Readiness Workshop

A great actor always prepares! Work with Sarah Jane Salonga, director of our upcoming production of Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, to build confidence and set yourself up for success in the audition room. Explore Chinese stories, fables, and folktales as you get to know this beloved story of adventure, faith, and friendship. Read and sing through sections of the script and score, dive into character movement, and get practical tips for every stage of the audition process, from choosing your song cut to handling cold reads. Gain valuable feedback in a supportive setting and leave your stage fright at the door!
Thanksgiving Break Camp
with Various Instructors
Ages: 4 - 12
Grades K-6
School may be out, but theatre is in! Elementary students are welcome to join us for three fun-filled days rotating through classes in drama, music, dance, and art. Whether your student is used to the spotlight or new to the stage, our Thanksgiving Break camps have something for everyone!
Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT clamps until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of camp.
A detailed informational letter will be sent out the week prior to camps. Students should bring a water bottle, closed-toe shoes, sack lunch, and two snacks.
Winter Camp 1: Frozen- Adventures in Arendelle
with Various Instructors
Grades K-6
School may be out, but theatre is in! K-6th grade students are welcome to join us for day-long camps rotating through classes in drama, music, dance, and art. Whether your student is used to the spotlight or new to the stage, JT camps offer a creative outlet for a variety of interests and skill levels.
Pricing: $100/day for first camp, $75 for each additional camp. If registering for multiple winter camps, please register for the first and then contact info@juniortheatre.com to receive the promo code for additional camps. Students must register for at least 2 camps to fulfill winter audition requirement.

Hero's Journey
Grades 4-6
Embark on an epic Hero’s Journey! Travel from ordinary worlds into extraordinary adventures, just like Moana crossing the ocean, Percy Jackson on a quest, or Odysseus sailing home from Troy. Create original scenes filled with wise mentors, tricky villains, and brave heroes discovering their strength. Along the way, design props, backdrops, and basic costume pieces that bring your adventures to life. Discover how legendary stories are built through creativity, collaboration, and performance, then share the story of your own heroic journey with friends and family during an open sharing on the final day of class!
*Class will not meet on January 19th or February 16th due to federal holdiays.
