Grades 6-12

Whether you're new to the Bard or a seasoned sonneteer, there's something for everyone to learn in this class focusing on some of Shakespeare’s iconic scenes. Students will become text detectives, mining their lines for Shakespeare's acting clues hidden in plain sight.  A wonderful opportunity for students of all experience levels to take a crack at some of the best material ever written for actors. And in this class, everyone plays a starring role!

Conservatory Acting Camp: Puffs

Background characters deserve to be in the spotlight too! Join the Puffs, students from everyone’s favorite School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, who are ready to take center stage. This fast-paced, two-week acting conservatory will help students finesse skills in scene work and character development.

Please note that, in observance of Juneteenth, this camp will begin on June 21.

School may be out, but theatre is in! Join Junior Theatre for a week with your favorite school pals from classic stories such as Matilda, The Prom, High School Musical, School of Rock and more! Act, sing and dance your way to the top of the class!

Please note that this is a 4-day camp. Class will run June 21-24 in observance of Juneteenth.

Session 1 Tech Camp: Stinky Cheese Man

What happens backstage is just as important as what happens on stage! Students will get hands-on experience learning about the many elements of technical theatre that help bring a story to life. Working with professional designers and technicians, students will gain exposure to lighting, sound, scenic and prop design. A great choice for teens with an interest in backstage work and fully rounding out their theatrical experience!

Session 4 Performance Camp - Puppet-Palooza

Musical Theatre Conservatory Jr.: How To Eat Like A Child

This musical adventure through the joys and sorrows of being a child includes hilarious lessons in such subjects as how to beg for a dog, how to tease your sister and how to act after being sent to your room. Our musical theatre conservatory focuses on developing the skills and techniques of performance and will culminate in an open presentation of work – perfect for students in grades 4 - 8 who are ready for a challenge!
