Session 2 Performance Camp: Otherworldly (4-day; no camp Fri)

Session 2, June 15-18, 2026 (4-day camp)
Magic, myth, and the mysteries of the cosmos collide in this camp filled with legendary creatures, daring heroes, and intergalactic adventures. From futuristic sci-fi to distant galaxies, explore stories– like Star Wars, Percy Jackson, The Hobbit and more– that have expanded our sense of what’s possible. Through acting, music, art, and dance, let’s transform the stage into entirely new worlds waiting to be discovered.
Rising 1st-8th grade students are welcome to join us for fun-filled days rotating through classes in drama, music, dance, and art. Whether your child is used to the spotlight or new to the stage, our summer camps have something for everyone!
This program is designed for rising 1st-8th graders. For rising Kindergarteners please register for Kinderstars.
***Camps run from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday unless otherwise specified. Students will be grouped by age. Students should come to camp with a sack lunch and two extra snacks. Please send students in clothes they can move in; no flip flops. Aftercare option available for $30/day until 5 PM. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT camps until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of camp.***

Session 3 Musical Theatre Intensive 7-12: Camp Camp

“Camp” isn’t just a place you go, it’s an artform! Explore the bold styles and high theatrics of “campy” musicals like Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors, Rocky Horror Show, and more! Be ready for some glitz and glam as we step outside of our comfort zones for a week of over-the-top musical romps.
These camps are geared towards students who want a faster paced "rehearsal & performance" experience. Classes will primarily focus on singing and dancing. Auditions may be held on the first day of camp at the discretion of the Teaching Artists.
Session 3 Performance Camp: Wonderful World of Wicked

Session 3, June 22-26, 2026
Everyone deserves a chance to fly! Join Junior Theatre in the merry old land of Oz as we celebrate Wicked, the “popular” Broadway sensation and hit films! Defy gravity while singing, dancing, acting, and unlocking the power of art. Follow the Yellow Brick Road as we bring the music and magic of Wicked to life!

Session 4 JT Studio 7-12: Audition Clinic
with Various Instructors

Session 4, June 29- July 3 2026 (4-day camp)
Step into the room with confidence in this teen audition clinic designed to sharpen skills and calm nerves. Each day zeroes in on the different elements of acing any audition: selecting and cutting material, vocal technique and cold reads, movement calls, monologues, and callback strategies. Work on presence, making strong first impressions, taking direction in the moment, and handling the unexpected with professionalism and poise. Through mock auditions and personalized feedback, refine technique, build resilience, and leave with a toolkit that makes every audition feel like an opportunity rather than an obstacle.

There’s no “I” in “team” OR in “theatre” – join us as we celebrate teamwork and sports through song! Rep your favorite teams and leave it all on the field while performing songs and scenes from hit musicals such as High School Musical, Bring It On, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and more!

Session 5 Acting Academy 7-12: Directing Intensive

"What even IS directing," you're asking yourself. In this camp, we set out to answer that question as we focus on the various facets of directing a show. From script analysis, to staging and blocking, to collaborating with actors and designers, we'll untangle the many duties that a director is tasked with. In this process-oriented workshop, students will serve as both actors and directors to help bring each other's visions to life.
These camps are geared towards students who want a faster paced "rehearsal & performance" experience. Classes will primarily emphasize acting, though other theatrical elements (playwriting, movement, auditioning, etc) may be included.

Celebrate identity, community, and fearless self-expression in this Pride-themed musical theatre intensive! Inspired by iconic shows like The Prom, RENT, and Kinky Boots, and the groundbreaking shows and artists who have shaped the legacy of musical theatre, this camp explores songs and scenes that honor authenticity, resilience, and belonging. Focus on storytelling through song, building stage presence, and connecting deeply with the material and each other. Collaboration and creativity take center stage in a supportive environment where every voice matters.
