Grades 1-3

Build your dance vocabulary and your musical theater skills while learning original choreography and jamming out to your favorite showtunes.

Grades 4-6

Time Step to success with this foundational tap dance class! Master tap essentials as you blend basic steps into dynamic and fast-paced combinations. Boost your coordination while perfecting swift footwork and intricate rhythms. Fine tune your technique and unlock the full potential of your rhythmic abilities!

*Students are not required to have tap shoes to participate in this class, but are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.

Grades 7-12

Embrace the macabre and mysterious side of musical theatre as we draw inspiration from Broadway’s spookiest musicals. Elevate your dance technique by learning choreography to supernatural selections from Beetlejuice, Rocky Horror, Little Shop of Horrors and more! Celebrate JT’s upcoming production of The Addams Family as we step into the Halloween season.

Grades 1-3

Feel the magic of Arendelle right here in sunny San Diego! Join Elsa, Anna, Olaf and friends as we explore the music of Frozen Jr. through dance and storytelling. Develop dance and performance skills to portray the characters you know and love on this icy adventure!

Levels PreK-K

Get ready to “move it, move it” with Junior Theatre! Embrace the magic of movement, enjoying fun activities that explore shape, tempo and rhythm. Build your basic dance vocabulary and express yourself while growing coordination and confidence on the dance floor!

* For students ages 4 and up. Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.

Grades K-6

School may be out but theatre is in! Elementary students are welcome to join us for three fun-filled days rotating through classes in drama, music, dance and a specialty subject. Whether your child is used to the spotlight or new to the stage, our Thanksgiving Break camp has something for everyone!

*Camp days are from 9am-3pm. Students must be at least 5 years old and enrolled in a full-day school program to participate. A detailed informational letter will be sent out the week prior to camps. Students should bring a water bottle, closed-toe shoes, a sack lunch and two snacks.

Grades 1-3

Dive into an ocean of dance inspired by Finding Nemo and other hit undersea musicals like The Little Mermaid and Moana! Build your dance vocabulary while moving like graceful jellyfish, swift dolphins, and playful sea turtles. Celebrate the beauty and adventure of the ocean with beloved songs like “Under the Sea,” “How Far I’ll Go,” and more! Experience the joy of storytelling through movement in this vibrant, water-inspired dance journey.

Grades 7-12

Time to razzle dazzle into some new skills by learning dances from hit musicals like Chicago, Anything Goes, The Pajama Game, and more! Get those jazz hands ready and join Junior Theatre for a swingin’ session designed for new and experienced dancers alike!
