If you can dream it, you can do it! Let your imagination guide the way as we embark on a magical expedition of self-discovery and creativity! Designed to empower budding performers, this immersive experience invites students to explore the wonders of storytelling through the art of creative play. Gain confidence on stage, foster social skills and set sail on new adventures each week.

* For students ages 4 and up. Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.

Grades 4-6

Level up your performances by embodying characters through movement and physicality. Learn to tell compelling stories without words, bringing characters to life with energy and precision. Dive into the thrilling world of stage combat and the timeless humor of slapstick comedy. Whether you're delivering a dramatic duel or a hilarious pratfall, this class will equip you with the skills to captivate any audience. Join us for an unforgettable journey as we embrace the physical side of acting!

Ages 6-16

Explore the many elements of putting on a show in this one-of-a-kind class! Strengthen audition skills and acting abilities while studying basic elements of set and costume design. Collaborate with your classmates to “produce” your own mini-play in the classroom. Take charge as you direct, design and perform in an original production, showcasing your creativity on stage and behind the scenes.

Grades 7-12

Step into the realm where spontaneity meets creativity as we explore the art of improv. Explore the depths of improvisational theater as its own unique art form. Through collaborative storytelling, quick thinking games and character development techniques, participants will hone their comedic timing, enhance their communication skills and embrace the unexpected.

Grades 4-6

From creating hilarious characters to inventing wacky scenarios on the spot, improv empowers performers to think on their feet and hone teamwork and problem-solving skills. Whether you're new to the stage or a seasoned performer, you’ll build confidence, learn to think on your feet and have lots of laughs along the way. Let spontaneity take center stage as you embrace the unexpected!

Grades 1-3

Nate the Great is on the case! Team up with Nate and Sludge to uncover a world of acting and adventure, inspired by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat's beloved book series. Tap into your inner sleuth while sharpening your actor’s tools (body, voice and imagination). Collaborate with your classmates to follow clues and crack the case!

Grades 4-6

Join the wacky world of Louis Sachar with larger-than-life characters from Holes and Sideways Stories from Wayside School! Stretch your imagination and sharpen your acting skills as you collaborate with classmates to create original scenes featuring iconic characters like Stanley Yelnats and Mrs. Gorf. An excellent opportunity for eligible students who are interested in preparing to audition for JT's winter production of Sideways Stories from Wayside School!
