Combine acting and playwriting as we work together to reimagine classic fairy tales, twisting familiar stories into bold, original adventures. Through character work and collaborative storytelling, young actors explore humor, conflict, and unexpected outcomes while building confidence on stage. Celebrate JT’s spring production of Shrek the Musical as we flip “once upon a time” on its head and bring quirky, fractured fairy tales to life!

Hop into a magical time machine that leads to amazing adventures! Develop your actor’s tools, using your body, voice, and imagination to ride dinosaurs, explore medieval castles, and envision what the future might hold. Through movement, pretend play, and acting games, young performers bring adventures to life while stretching their imagination and creativity.
* For students ages 4 and up. Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.

Explore eerie, magical, and dangerous nighttime moments from the plays of William Shakespeare– where ghosts walk, witches whisper prophecies, and secrets unfold under cover of darkness. Build atmosphere and sharpen instincts as we dive into thrilling scenes filled with ambition, betrayal, enchantment, and suspense, from moonlit forests to haunted castles.Through scene work, dramaturgy, and exploration of heightened language, discover how to bring Shakespeare’s most mysterious characters to life. When the sun sets, the truth comes out.
These camps are geared towards students who want a faster paced "rehearsal & performance" experience. Classes will primarily emphasize acting, though other theatrical elements (playwriting, movement, auditioning, etc) may be included.
