Character Chameleon

Who will you become? In this character-driven acting class, students will explore favorite characters and dive into what makes them unique. Through movement, voice, facial expressions, mannerisms, and improv, actors will explore how their characters walk, talk, react, and interact with the world around them. Learn to make bold choices, think on your feet, and transform into someone completely new!

Let’s sing, dance, and make some Disney magic! Young performers will journey through beloved Disney songs and stories, bringing favorite characters and magical worlds to life through singing, movement, and creative expression. From classic favorites to modern hits, students will have fun finding their voices, exploring musical storytelling, and joining in on a joyful Disney singalong adventure!
* For students ages 4 and up. Students must be potty confident to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.
Action Awaits
Grades 7-8
Step into the world of heroes, villains, and epic adventures while learning the fundamentals of stage combat and physical storytelling! Explore safe, choreographed techniques including stage falls, reactions, hand-to-hand combat, and more while building timing, character, and performance skills. Then put those techniques into action by creating and staging original fight scenes where every move helps tell the story.
Blind Box Theatre

What will you unbox? Each class begins with a new Blind Box filled with mystery characters, objects, locations, and surprises that become the ingredients for an original scene! Through improv and creative storytelling, work as an ensemble to turn each unexpected reveal into characters, conflicts, and stories. Think on your feet, build on each other’s ideas, and discover what happens when you never know what you’re going to get!
Mini-Musical: The Greatest Showman

Come alive as we put on a Mini-Musical inspired by The Greatest Showman! Explore a selection of songs and scenes from the hit film while building skills in all areas of musical theatre. Embody larger-than-life characters and share your work with friends and family at our Open Sharing performance on the final day of class.

Calling all monsters! Create your own wild and wacky creatures and bring them to life through acting, movement, and imagination. Explore monster voices, larger-than-life characters, and spooky-silly scenes as you work together to build your very own Monster Squad. From friendly beasts to mischievous creatures, there's no telling who might join the team!
Doodle Drama

Put pencil to paper and bring your creations to life! Young artists will design original characters and the worlds they inhabit, then use acting and improv to take their ideas from the page to the stage. Calling all detectives! Inspired by classic mysteries like The Boxcar Children, Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, and Sherlock Holmes, explore the clues, suspects, and twists that make a great mystery. Use acting and improv to create curious characters, uncover secrets, and solve the case. Then work as an ensemble to devise an original mystery of your own!
