Teen Audition Clinic

Explore how to select monologues and songs that showcase your unique talents, and receive personalized feedback in a supportive, low-pressure environment. You'll also learn essential tips to communicate with an accompanist, present your best self, and feel confident as you step into any audition. *Students should bring a water bottle, closed-toe shoes, a sack lunch and a snack. While students will perform mock auditions for one another, there will not be an open sharing for this workshop.*
Once Upon A Storytime

Bring beloved storybooks to life! Each week, dive into a new tale through creative play and imagination. Explore characters, settings, and themes in a playful environment that sparks creativity, builds confidence, and develops early social skills.
*For students ages 4 and up. Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.*

Scene Study

Ages: 12 - 14
Grades 7 and 8
Learn how to stand out in the audition room and on stage! Get into the nuts and bolts of acting by learning how to analyze a scene and gain insight into your character. Become a “smart actor” through scene work while deepening your knowledge of blocking notation and theatrical terminology. This class is excellent preparation for students of all experience levels interested in auditioning for upcoming productions or simply growing their skills.

Whodunit

Grades 4-6
Calling all junior detectives! In this mystery-themed acting class, dive into the world of suspects, sleuths, and secret clues. Develop character work and storytelling skills while creating and performing scenes inspired by classic “whodunit” stories. Practice building suspense, delivering surprise twists, and using your actor’s tools to keep the audience guessing until the very end. Whether playing the quirky detective, the cunning culprit, or the unsuspecting witness, get ready to crack the case!

Homeschool: Creative Collaboration

Discover the power of a strong ensemble both on and off stage. Through fun team-building exercises, improvisation, and group storytelling, learn how to listen and respond to your scene partners, share the stage, and create cohesive performances together. Focus on building trust, communication, and a strong rapport within a group to create an ensemble for the stage.
Black Box Theatre: Rehearsal and Performance

Grades 9-12
Whether you’re an experienced actor or have always wanted to get on stage, this skill-building offering is your opportunity to audition, rehearse, and perform in a one-act play! Classes will be spent auditioning, rehearsing, developing characters, and strengthening acting technique. The class will culminate in a shared performance of a short play for friends and family. Please note: There will be a video audition requirement prior to the start of this class, which will determine casting. Casting decisions are at the sole discretion of the Teaching Artist. The title of the play is TBD contingent upon enrollment numbers. Since class serves as rehearsal time, enrollment in this class is a commitment to regular attendance.

Whether you're new to the stage or a seasoned performer, you’ll build confidence, learn to think on your feet, and have lots of laughs along the way. Step into a magical forest filled with playful woodland creatures! Explore favorite stories like Peter Rabbit, Frog and Toad, and The Gruffalo through creative movement, character work, and imaginative play. Embody favorite animal characters while developing performance skills. Each class explores a new nature-inspired story, bringing beloved characters and settings to life in a fun, imaginative space.
