Ages 10+

Form a pirate crew with your fellow classmates and set sail for fortune and glory! In this performance skills/RPG-Play course, you’ll craft your character’s unique backstory, abilities, and look. Then, you’ll bring them to life through improv and storytelling challenges before actual-play sessions of a tabletop role-playing-game. (If you’re interested in ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ , it’s like that but isn’t that exactly…)(Less ‘dragons’ more ‘mermaids’)

Will you discover the Lost Treasure of the Sunken Isles, or be swallowed whole by the deadly Kraken? The only way to find out is by playing the game! 

Ye Olde Fine Print: This is a fantasy pirate adventure with all of the trappings you might imagine. Forts will be raided, treasure will be plundered and buckles will be swashed. (Or is it ‘swashes’ will be ‘buckled’?) Which is to say: violence and thievery are inherent to the genre. Storylines may also involve: spoooooooky skeletons, the existence of grog/rum, dark magic, a pantheon of gods + beliefs. We would rate the content as PG-13, in line with that of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. 

Grades 4-6

Embark on a creative journey into the unknown! Venture into outer space, dive under the sea, or imagine entirely new worlds as you combine storytelling with visual art. Develop original scenes inspired by uncharted territories, then design props, backdrops, and basic costume pieces to bring your imaginative settings to life. Discover new ways to tell stories through design and performance, sharing your adventures with friends and family during a special showcase on the final day!

Grades 4-6

Join some of the most iconic world changers of musical theatre in this high-powered dance class! Inspired by shows like Hamilton, Annie, Hairspray, and Newsies, dive into the world of characters shaking things up during revolutionary moments in history. Combine storytelling with exciting choreography, fight for what is right, and “raise a glass to freedom”!

Grades 7-12

Let’s go down to the Ozdust ballroom…and learn choreography inspired by Wicked! Channel the energy of “Dancing Through Life” and other iconic numbers as you bring the music of Oz to life through movement. Develop strength, coordination, and storytelling skills while exploring the journeys of Elphaba, Glinda, and other Ozians. By the end, you’ll be ready to share your spellbinding dance moves with friends and family in an open sharing straight out of the Emerald City!

Grades 1-3

Step into the magic of spring showers and colorful skies! Let your imagination soar somewhere over the rainbow as we dance to songs inspired by the beauty of nature and the joy of transformation. This class celebrates the spring season with playful movements, vibrant creativity, and the promise of sunny skies after the rain. Perfect for bringing a splash of fun and color to every young dancer’s day!

PreK-K Students

Celebrate the beauty of spring in a magical garden adventure! Dance through blooming flowers, flutter like butterflies, and sway like trees in the breeze as you "paint with all the colors of the wind." With songs from beloved musicals and Disney classics, each session brings the garden to life with imaginative movement and joyful exploration. Perfect for little ones who love nature, this class is filled with playful energy and the wonder of springtime.

* For students ages 4 and up. Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.
