Thanksgiving Break Camp (3-day)

School may be out but theatre is in! Elementary students are welcome to join us for three fun-filled days rotating through classes in drama, music, dance and a specialty subject. Whether your child is used to the spotlight or new to the stage, our Thanksgiving Break camp has something for everyone!

*Camp days are from 9am-3pm. Students must be at least 5 years old and enrolled in a full-day school program to participate. A detailed informational letter will be sent out the week prior to camps. Students should bring a water bottle, closed-toe shoes, a sack lunch and two snacks.

For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.

Calling all junior detectives! In this mystery-themed acting class, dive into the world of suspects, sleuths, and secret clues. Develop character work and storytelling skills while creating and performing scenes inspired by classic “whodunit” stories. Practice building suspense, delivering surprise twists, and using your actor’s tools to keep the audience guessing until the very end. Whether playing the quirky detective, the cunning culprit, or the unsuspecting witness, get ready to crack the case!

Please note that this class will not meet on January 20 (MLK Day) or February 17th (Presidents' Day).

Homeschool: Creative Collaboration

Whether you're new to the stage or a seasoned performer, you’ll build confidence, learn to think on your feet, and have lots of laughs along the way. Let spontaneity take center stage as you embrace the unexpected!

Mini-Musical: You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Build musical theatre skills while bringing iconic characters like Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy to life through song and scene work. A great opportunity for young actors to develop confidence and prepare for future productions!

Beginner Sewing Clinic

Join costume designer and costume loft coordinator Tammy Molenaar as she guides young artists through the basics elements of sewing and design. Aspiring costume designers will learn basic stitches and sewing techniques in this unique workshop.  A great choice for students who are interested in exploring costume design for the very first time. No experience necessary! Please self select between this clinic and the Intermediate Sewing Clinic based on experience. Note that this will be a mixed-age class.

Blend theatre and visual art together in this collaborative class! Create original scenes, then bring them to life by designing your own props, backdrops, and simple costume pieces. Tap into your inner designer, exploring new forms of artistic storytelling while turning your vision into reality. Share your creations with friends and family when you perform original scenes at an open sharing on the final day of class!
