Dance and act with some of your favorite queens, kings, princesses and princes while taking your performance skills to the next level.

* For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.

Put your songwriting skills to the test as we work together to write and perform an original mini-musical! Tap into creativity and collaboration while studying basic music theory and vocal technique. Storytelling, singing and performance blend together in perfect harmony in this unique offering!

Inspired by beloved fairy tales, this enchanting week will explore the realms of imagination. From brave knights and noble princesses to mischievous fairies and cunning villains, bring timeless fairy tale characters to life while honing performance skills. Join us for an unforgettable adventure where every tale begins with "once upon a time" and ends with a standing ovation!

Ever dreamt of stomping Goombas or outsmarting Bowser? Get ready for an epic adventure at Mario Mania, where students dive headfirst into the thrilling world of everyone's favorite plumber! Power up your performance skills as we take a warp pipe into a realm of creativity, teamwork and pure magic. It's-a time to level up your performance skills in the ultimate Mario experience!

Grades 4-6

Session 7: July 29-August 2

Put pen to page and present your original stories on stage! Collaborate with your Teaching Artist and classmates to write and perform in an original play. Through collaborative brainstorming and writing sessions and rehearsals, delve into the exciting process of creating characters, developing plots and crafting dialogue. Harness your storytelling skills and perform your group’s one-of-a-kind creation for an audience on the final day of camp.

Grades 7-12

Session 7: July 29-August 2

Come hear the music play! Elevate your vocal performance skills to new heights as you learn to shine solo or harmonize with your fellow campers. Under the guidance of our talented JT teaching artists, you'll craft a one-of-a-kind concert-style performance!

What happens backstage is just as important as what happens on stage! Students will get hands-on experience learning about the many elements of technical theatre that help bring a story to life. Working with professional designers and technicians, students will gain exposure to lighting, sound, scenic and prop design. A great choice for teens with an interest in backstage work and fully rounding out their theatrical experience!
